Experimental dependences of the maximum height of the launched ball on the governing parameters: (a) on the number N₁ of horizontalfolds (N₂ = 7, α = 60°); (b) on the number N₂ of vertical folds (N₁ = 5, α = 60°); (c) on the construction angle α (N₁ = 7, N₂ = 7). Error bars in the plots are estimated approximately, to include the instrumental errors, the statistical distribution of repeated experiments, and the measurement inaccuracies related to the human factor. Each experiment was repeated several dozen times, and then from the initial data set only vertical launches were selected. Each data set is compared to the theoretical solution with the corresponding parameters.
