Article-processing charges

Any publication process induces expenses. In order to be accessible to any student, Emergent Scientist is an open-access journal, which means that no subscription or payment is required to read our articles. When a paper is accepted for publication, the production costs are therefore charged to the authors and should be paid by their universities or institutions, such as the national academy of science or the national physical society.

For special volumes (such as volumes dedicated to students' competitions), the cost is charged to the organizers and publication is free of charge for participants.

We reduced the editing price to the minimum, charge only the production process and make no profit out of it. The total amount is 300€ (about ten times less than other open-access journals), scattered as follows :

To support the creation of the Mathematics Section, our publisher will cover the APC for the first ten papers accepted in this section !
