Chronophotography of the collapse of the array. One magnet is pushed into the frame through the slot (green circle). The critical density is reached, and a magnet jumps up between T = 0 ms and T = 100 ms (red circle) and attracts all the others afterwards. In this configuration, there are 33 ferrite magnets (R = 15 mm, h = 5 mm) in a ∅[30] cm circle.
